Component 2 is all about my Ways 2 Interface research project, study log and personal journal.
As with all the ‘components’ of Dabbling with Creative Technologies, Ways 2 Interface was in fact its own distinct and complex project.
Ways 2 interface was a blog and transdisciplinary research project I started in 2014.
I had planned to carry it over and expand it within the research focus of a traditional master’s degree in Creative Technologies and Enterprise, which I had originally signed up to undertake at the end of 2014.
Ways 2 Interface picked up where the research concerns of my BA (Hons) theoretical dissertation, Ways of Being: The Spectator and the Spectacle, had left off.
Ultimately, I decided against undertaking a traditional master’s degree and instead opted to build my own MTA Portfolio.
But Ways 2 Interface still played a huge role in shaping my MTA Portfolio.
Brining the project together for inclusion in Dabbling with Creative Technologies also required a great deal of effort because I had to wrap up the original Ways 2 Interface blog and work my through all the unpublished and un-utilized posts I had originally written in 2014 and 2015.
However, it’s all up now and signed off on.
